Enzo Iacchetti


Enzo Iacchetti was born in Castelleone (Cremona) on August 31, 1952. He began his profession as a comedian in 1979 at the Derby in Milan, in those years the cradle of cabaret, and until 1985 he frequented the club with assiduity, staging shows with Francesco Salvi, Giorgio Faletti, Valter Valdi, Giobbe Covatta, Malandrino and Veronica, The Cats of the Vicolo dei Miracoli.

From the 90s he began his television collaboration with Rai, Mediaset and Telemontecarlo. In 1990 he was one of the regular guests of the program " Maurizio Costanzo Show " and in 1994 his popularity grew with " Striscia la Notizia " which in the 2007/2008 season leads, for the 14th consecutive year, with Ezio Greggio in the 20th edition of the program.

In 1995 he plays the Antonio Ricci sit-com " In due sopra il varano " with Lello Arena, and the TV films " Come When It's Raining Outside " (directed by Bruno Gaburro) and " From what comes what comes " (directed by Andrea Manni). Always with Andrea Manni, he produces and realizes the television program " Titolo " of which he is the absolute protagonist. With Ezio Greggio he was the protagonist of " Benedetti dal Signore ", a mini series of four episodes which in 2004 won the Telegatto for best short fiction. On Canale 5 he played the protagonist of " Il Mammo ".

For the cinema, he played " Tifosi " (directed by Neri Parenti); " La grande prugna " (directed by Claudio Malafonti); " The secret of success " (directed by Massimo Martelli) and " In this world of thieves " (directed by Carlo Vanzina); as well as some short films: " To have or to read " (directed by Carlo Sarti) and " Puzzle " (directed by Valerio Peretti).

Also for the cinema in 2007 he made his debut behind the camera, signing his first short film as a director entitled " Pazza di te ".

In the theater he has made a series of shows of which he is also the author, among others " Too much health ", " The dwarf trees. History of bonsai theory " and " The great Iac ". In 2000/01 he starred in Neil Simon's " Laughter on the 23rd Floor ", in 2001/02 the comedy " Try Again Sam " by Woody Allen; he starred in the theater of " A virus in the system " by Richard Strand and " The producers " by Mel Brooks. He has published four philosophical-humorous books for Mondadori, " Il Pensiero Bonsai ", " The story of Belador the magnificent ", " The color of honey " and " This yes that is love not 'bau bau micio micio' ", and three CDs , " Canzoni Bonsai ", " The color of honey " and " The true story of Santa Claus ". Finally, he was the testimonial of Moretti beer, for which commercials, in 2001 he was awarded the "Key Award-Testimonial" , one of the most important advertising awards.
