Walter Rolfo is an illusionist, author, writer and television host. He began to deal with magic and illusionism at the age of twelve under the guidance of Enzo Pocher, Vittorio Balli and Don Silvio Mantelli. In 1993 he won the competition for magicians "I Re Maghi" (broadcast on Rai 1) and in Rome the Chabernot Trophy. Since then he has participated in several television broadcasts and has performed in numerous magical art festivals and congresses. After graduating in Management Engineering at the Polytechnic of Turin, in 2001 he began working in Rai as an author alongside Michele Guardì. In 2003 he joined the Rai Due experimentation structure, under the deputy direction of Gian Stefano Spoto, where he manages projects and programs and also collaborates as an author and host.
In 2005, with Gian Stefano Spoto, he wrote "Bye Bye Baby" (Rai 2), In 2006 he wrote and hosted "ArcanA" (Rai 2). In 2009 he wrote and hosted the reality show "Sei nel vistaino" (Sky).
In 2010 he created "Masters of Magic" (Rai 2). In 2011 he wrote and hosted "The Secret" (Rai 2) and created "Cartoon Magic" (Rai 2). In 2013 he conceived and produced "La Grande Magia - The Illusionist" (Canale 5). In 2015 he conceived, wrote and hosted the "Masters of Magic" program with Gerry Scotti, broadcast in prime time on Canale 5 from 2 to 23 June 2016.
Since 2013 he has been carrying around Italy a one man show, written with Alessandro Marrazzo, entitled "Inganni - Manual of defense", an investigation-show on the mysteries of the mind and human perception. In 2014 he participated as a speaker at TEDxTrastevere with a conference entitled "The art of achieving the impossible" during which he talked about his experience on board the Costa Concordia on January 13, 2012. As CEO of WoW srl, a company consultant in the fields of management and communication, he conducted a series of training courses in Russia at the Association of Communication Directors and Corporate Publishing AKMR. He holds show-lessons, courses, workshops and seminars around Italy, on the art of achieving the impossible. He is the didactic coordinator and teacher of the Master "Emotions, perception and the art of the impossible" at the IULM University of Milan.
